I think we all understand the importance of technology on our lives - at home and at work. But as yet, many are struggling to see the practical applications of AI and, in particular, how it could impact on the legal sector.

Struggle no more! This piece on the Legal Futures website quite succinctly explains one particular product from ThoughtRiver that is clearly well on its way to being main stream and will have major implications for law firms.

I for one welcome the positive implications of AI and how it can help the legal sector deliver services and products that are more client focused.

ThoughtRiver has developed software that uses AI to scan and interpret information in written contracts. It produces visuals of the potential risks in an online dashboard to enable the user to make better decisions more quickly.
